im-perception

The way I would describe perception is to imagine an abundance of slugs leeching out of our brains, wrapping themselves entirely over the objects around us, and taking their form. Once this form is taken, these objects are then identified by our brains. But, our human bodies do not have the mechanics to perceive everything that is actually going on around us, our perception is not perfect. There are millions of waves, vibrations, and particles touching us all over and bouncing off of us at every second. There are constant extreme sounds going on that our ears do not translate as sound. Those are just things that we know about, but what about the things that we are unaware of? Surely we do not know everything.

Im-Perception is about the great possibility of having magnificent things all around us at every second that we do not know about, because our minds are unable to perceive them. The figure wearing the tight gray cap with the black "slug tubes" attached is the subject who perceives. The figures and objects under the ends of these "slug tubes" are the things the subject is able to perceive. Everything not under these "slug tubes" is out of reach of the subject's perception. There is a vast amount not within the ability of the subject's perception. This could be a reality, we don't know.
